Plinkit Now Even Easier to Implement
New Mentoring Program
Plinkit has added a Mentoring Program which means it's now simpler than ever for state and regional organizations to implement Plinkit for their member libraries.
The program includes specific mentors for technical people as well as for Project Coordinators. There's also an Usher/Administrator who'll give you an orientation that will help you get acquainted with the Collaborative, its procedures, the different roles of the members, available training, expectations of new members, the website and its resources as well as the Collaborative's history.
Of course, members can always ask the entire group any questions that they have, but having a specific person designated to help you get started is great for people needing quick answers. Plus helping you lets mentors become even more familiar with Plinkit. And once you're conversant in Plinkit, you can learn even more by becoming a mentor yourself.
