Award Winning Plinkit Training Manual Being Updated
Upcoming transition to Plinkit 2.0 necessitates update of Plinkit user's and administrator's manuals

With the upcoming release of the Plinkit 2.0 software, the Plinkit Training Manual will be updated to reflect the new user interface and features that will be available to libraries using Plinkit. Originally titled Plinkit Training Manual for Oregon Library Plinkit Web Site Editors, this manual was written before the Plinkit Collaborative was formed and became one of the first tangible assets of the newly formed organization.
In the fall of 2006, the manual was awarded a rating of "Excellence" in the Software Guides category of the 2006 Technical Publications Competition by the Intermountain Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (see page two of Ascent, Intermountain Chapter Newsletter, Winter 2007 [pdf]).
Toni Mantych (of Professional Quill™) developed the original manual and is expected to be updating both the Plinkit Training Manual and the Plinkit Administrator’s Manual this summer.
