A Newsletter to Keep Users Connected and Informed

Colorado Plinkit Coordinator starts newsletter

Christine Kreger, the Plinkit project coordinator for Colorado, started a monthly newsletter to encourage her users to share tips and information about how they are using PlinkitCalled Colorado PlinkiTips, it features fun and interesting things libraries are doing and is a great source for ideas on how to liven up your website.

It includes features on making your library more welcoming by posting staff photos, how to market your electronic resources,  how to add images to your website and how to add an ROI calculator.  She also includes links to resources that will help you incorporate these features.  Recent editions talk about one site's YouTube videos, another's Personal Shopper program and a "Ways to Use Your Library Card" list that was recently posted.

Her goals are to help create a community of Colorado users, remind libraries of the various functions and features of the software, share tips and tricks, and showcase unique or cool things libraries are doing with their Plinkit sites.   She also welcomes new members and links to them so fellow Plinkiteers can check out the new pages.
