Plinkit's Original Design Philosophy

The original design of Plinkit was approached with one prevailing aim: to empower local libraries to market themselves as a local, valuable resource and information service provider.

Work Begins on Plinkit Administrator's Manual
The Collaborative has hired Toni Mantych of Professional Quill to develop a Plinkit Administrator's Manual for use among members. The Plinkit Administrator's Manual will focus on the information and tasks necessary for installing Zope, Plone, and Apache; setting up and customizing the initial Plinkit template and the supporting Plone Products; and performing on-going build-out and maintenance tasks.

Colorado State Library Excited to Offer Plinkit
The Colorado State Library has joined the collaborative along with Oregon, Texas and Illinois and not a moment too soon! Currently Colorado has 30 public libraries with no websites. Other rural libraries request Plinkit because of struggles they experience with their current website.
