Dec 12, 2007 Meeting Minutes

1. Intro

In attendance: Steve Gregory (Colorado), Holly Gordon (Texas), and Darci Hanning (Oregon)

2. Short state status reports

Colorado: Focusing on graphics and getting new sites launched. Also moving away from WebTrends and looking at Google Analytics and awstats. [Discussion around best web statistics programs to use. Oregon is using Google Analytics, Texas is using Webalyzer.]

Oregon: Focusing on training and deploying sites for libraries that have recently signed up. Should have 36 libraries live on Plinkit by the end of February.

Texas: Recently had a status meeting, post IBM data center migration. Currently standardizing on Debian Linux; continuing to sign up libraries and Tine is busy with training.

3. Status of action items from last meeting, review of minutes from last meeting

• Plinkit Setup Tool and Plinkit 2.0/Plone 2.5
• No update from Joel who has been unavailable for a various reasons. Darci to contact and provide an update via email.
• Recurring Events
• Software has been available but is only compatible with Plone 2.5 apparently.
  

4. New stuff?

• General discussions:
• Upgrading Plinkit to Plone 2.5 manually, Ploneboard is a real pain-point.
• Request to share the list of various Products each state has installed for their Plinkit sites, including version info
